The Paraffin procedures have an extraordinary effect on osteoporosis recovery. All procedures are prescribed by our doctor during an initial examination and they include local paraffin application on painful spot.

The TORFOSOL is an outstanding component used in our curative and preventive programs. Torfosol is a unique BIO product patent in Bulgaria. It consists of dried and ground turf, fertilized with Fluorine /F/, Silicon /Si/ and Magnesium /Mg/. Torfosol is often prescribed for treatment of locomotory system conditions. It is applied either as a supplement for mineral baths or as partial application on algetic zones.

Ultrasound therapy
Ultrasound is a modern method which includes simultaneous usage of the therapeutic benefits of high frequency sound waves and special healing gels and ointments. Ultrasound is mainly applied to treat diseases of the locomotor system such as: spinal disc herniation, rheumatism, injuries, etc., as well as diseases of the peripheral nervous system – radiculitis, plexopathy, sciatica, discopathy, pain syndromes and other.

Magnet therapy
Involves the benevolent healing effect of the magnetic field to improve the recovery processes in tissues after injury and to relieve rheumatic pain. It is successfully applied for treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous systems as well as of inflammatory and chronic joint and respiratory processes.

Solux
Has a thermal effect on skin, erythema ab igne, hyperaemia, dilates blood and lymph vessels, improving the processes of blood and lymth circulation, reduces inflammatory processes and relieves spasms of smooth and skeletal muscles and has analgesic effect as well. It is used for treating sinusitis, pharyngitis, rhinitis, facial nerve paralysis, plexopathy, myalgia.

Inhalation
Inhalation is a treatment that includes inbreathing of medicinal substances contained in the mineral water and in various medications. It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, expectorating and regenerating effect, stimulating the entire immunity. Indications to use the procedure are colds, nasopharyngitis, laryngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia. Inhalations are highly recommended to patients suffering from asthma.

Interferencial current therapy
A method similar to low frequency current therapy. The therapeutic effect of using interferential current is related to its physiological effect on the human body. The procedure improves peripheral circulation, tissue metabolism, release of biologically active substances and creates conditions for anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous effect. Mineral baths

Galvanic bath – is a medical treatment that combines hydro- and electrotherapy and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.
Pearl (bubble) bath – is a bath with pearls (air bubbles) that gently massage the skin and make you feel calm and relaxed after the procedure.
Tangentor bath (underwater jet massage) – is a combination between balneology and massage techniques. The procedure has a strengthening effect on the entire immune system.

Interhotel Sandanski can now offer a new procedure for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, caused by arthritis, osteoarthritis, sciatica pain, pain in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions of the vertebral column and muscle strains.

These disorders can now be treated with GUNA injectable collagen administered by a Gunaphoresis device. The healing effect of this medical device is attained via superposition of two fields – electromagnetic and biophotonic. This allows a greater depth of penetration of the special GUNA injectable collagen leading to a better absorption of the therapeutic product.
